Twelve chapters, one house
Whatever you love, made beautiful
Your best friend, your family, your street, your business. We make each one into something you can hang, watch, visit or live in.
All of it lives in Galley, the house’s own room, where the pictures and every earlier draft are kept.

Chapter I
Paint My Best Friend
Begin with your best friend.
Every best friend hangs like an old master
A French bulldog in a summer garden, an old Labrador by the window: Painted Pup paints each best friend the way the people who love them see them. Pawtrait brings a cat to life in gold on film, and Painted Mare puts cats under umbrellas and a horse in bold shapes.

Chapter II
Paint the Wild Ones
Then the ones nobody takes for a walk.
A meerkat at sundown, a tiger in pop colour
Pawtrait paints the meerkat, the sugar glider, the armadillo and the dolphins with the care it gives a dog. Painted Agency adds a rhinoceros in lilac, and a red panda climbs a golden branch on film.

Chapter III
Paint My Myth
Imagine yourself among the gods.
You, as the hero of an old story

Chapter IV
Paint My Stars
Look up, because the old stories are still written in the sky.
Every sign in a different hand
Painted Zodiac paints your sign in the hand you choose, from Scorpio in neon to Taurus in flowers. Painted Heavens draws the constellations across the night on film, and an armillary sphere holds all twelve signs in brass.

Chapter V
Star in the Matinee
Imagine your name above the title.
Cast your pet as the vampire or the crooner
Painted Halloween turns your face, or your dog’s, into the poster of a 1954 atomic monster movie or a gothic vampire, for grown-ups only. Painted Premiere does it for every genre in 72 styles, from studio noir to a neon city detective, and its palace picture house plays the results on screen.

Chapter VI
Paint the Holidays
Then the season comes round again.
The family portrait goes up for Christmas

Chapter VII
Paint Their Drawing
Now the smallest artists in the house.
A year of drawings, hung as one masterpiece

Chapter VIII
Paint My Places
Now the places you could walk with your eyes closed.
From Zermatt to Everest, drawn like a map
Painted Piste draws Zermatt as a contour chart and St. Moritz in relief, Painted Peaks paints Everest in watercolour, and Painted Summit maps the route to the top. Painted Court lights a tennis court at night, and Painted Course turns a golf course into a great wave. Painted Circuit films the links in the dunes at first light.

Chapter IX
Hang It at Home
Choose a wall, then choose what hangs on it.
Deco posters and old gods, ready for your wall
Painted Agency prints a chalet at dusk, a breaking wave and a cypress road under a crescent moon in the flat colour of the Deco poster. Bacchanal brings Ariadne waking and the leopard and the cup, Three Walls keeps tickets and letters on a wall, and a Painted Crest film follows a crest from great hall to family wall.

Chapter XI
Build Your Brand
A brand needs a front door worth walking through.
Timber on the corner, kava on the beach
Plansmith draws timber buildings, from a courtyard among the trees to a roof terrace over the city. Kava Life, a kava drink, and Hall of Game, a collector’s vault, are two brands we are dressing now, ahead of their launch.

Chapter XII
Watch It Move
Watch what we do.
Yosemite at the opening, an orca at first light
Slipway’s films move from Yosemite in the opening scene to surf on the rocks, light through the kelp and fog over the forest. We build the first screens too, among them a sea of clouds at sunrise and the home pages of Garboard, Linehaze and Painted Shores, and Nitrate closes on The Last Reel.
